WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF RENOVATING OUR DOG KENNEL. THIS IS OUR 1ST MAJOR RENOVATION IN 20 YEARS. THE COST OF LABOR AND MATERIALS IS MORE THAN $70,000, AND FUNDS ARE LOW. SO, IF YOU'RE ABLE, PLEASE MAKE A DONATION TO THE ANIMAL ASSISTANCE LEAGUE "RENOVATION FUND". EVERY DOLLAR HELPS, AND IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED BY BOTH THE FOUR-LEGGED SHELTER RESIDENTS, AND THEIR TWO-LEGGED FRIENDS THAT TAKE CARE OF THEM. WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE A PERMANENT PLACE IN OUR AAL DOG KENNEL? WHY NOT SPONSOR THE COST OF ONE OF THE NEW CAGES? EACH SPONSOR WILL RECEIVE A PLAQUE ON A CAGE INSCRIBED WITH YOUR NAME, MESSAGE, OR DEDICATION IN MEMORY OR HONOR OF SOMEONE OR AN EVENT IMPORTANT TO YOUR LIFE. EACH CAGE COSTS $1,320, BUT WHAT A GREAT WAY TO HELP THE SPECIAL DOGS THAT COME TO US FOR REFUGE EVERYDAY, AND TO LEAVE A HEARTFELT MEMORY OR MESSAGE TO SHARE WITH OTHERS AT THE SAME TIME.
NOTE: DUE TO FUNDING ISSUES, RENOVATIONS HAVE BEEN DELAYED, AND THE DOG KENNEL WILL NOT BE OPENING AT THIS TIME. WE HOPE TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION, AND OPEN SOON, BUT WE HAVE NO ESTIMATED OPEING DATE AT THIS TIME. WE WILL NOT BE TAKING ANY NEW DOGS IN FOR ADOPTION UNTIL CONSTRUCTION IS FINISHED. WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE AND SUPPORT DURING THIS TIME.
The
Animal Assistance League is truly grateful to the ASPCA for awarding us a Grant
in the amount of $3000.00 to help with kennel renovations. If it were not for
the support of caring people like the ones that work for the ASPCA, smaller shelters
like ours would not be able to continue what we do. They truly reached out to
